High blood pressure usually causes no symptoms. The absence of headache, dizziness or other discomfort does not mean that the pressure is normal.
Diagnosis is based on correct, repeated measurements and medical evaluation. Headache and fatigue are non-specific symptoms and can have many causes.
Record your readings and discuss any persistent increases with the doctor. We don't increase or decrease medication depending on how we feel.
New, severe or persistent pain or pressure in the chest, sudden severe shortness of breath or fainting require immediate help: call 112 or 166. Do not wait for a reply to a message or a scheduled appointment.
The information is general and is not a substitute for medical evaluation. Do not change your treatment without instructions. For urgent symptoms call 112 or 166.
