Heatstroke is an emergency. Confusion, collapse, loss of consciousness, or very high temperature after heat exposure require immediate treatment. The skin may be dry or sweaty.
Immediately call 112 or 166. Move the person to a cool place, remove unnecessary clothing and start cooling with cool water and air, following the instructions of the call center. Don't wait to see if it gets better.
Do not give water or other fluids by mouth to a person with suspected heatstroke, especially if they are confused or unconscious. Stay with him until help arrives.
