Winter does not stop those who want to exercise. A scarf, a little courage - and the road awaits you. But the cold, no matter how "innocent" it seems, puts the heart to the test.
When the temperature drops, the blood vessels contract and blood pressure rises. If you have hypertension or heart sensitivity, exercise in very cold weather needs moderation. Warming up before, proper clothing, avoiding intense effort.
But above all... don't forget to check your blood pressure regularly. Keep your heart strong, all year round.
